First of all, I accomplished a huge hurdle...I finished these blankets for friends of mine who just adopted...not one, not two, but three kids!! Hope your not looking at this blog Sean!

| And...now I'm on these! My foot isn't healing, so I have to be non-weight bearing for the next two weeks, and then we will see what happens. For those of you who don't know, I have a talar dome fracture. My employer has been great enough to find work for me in the hospital since I won't be able to bear weight...desk job, here I come! |

| So, I am going to start working on this scarf! |
 |
| Out of this book... |
 |
| I'm also going to knit because it looks like this on the mountain, and a little bit outside (took this picture with my camera on the website). Tomorrow my parents are coming up to see me in Mammoth! TO SEE ME!! |
God, I wish I could knit like you!!!! or that I even knitted. What a sweet thing to do for your friend with the new kids. Lucky them!!! And that scarf looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBummer on the not healing thing! Why is that happening? (or not happening?)
And OMG that's a lot of snow!!! Enjoy!!
Stack, is that pink one crochet or knit, that is a cool stitch... great job
ReplyDeleteNancy, They are all the same stitch. One row is k2together, yo, k2together, yo, then the next row is just knitting. It varies on what row you are knitting if you start with 3 or 4 stitches. I love it because it usually goes pretty fast because you are knitting with three strands and size 15 needles.
ReplyDeleteHi Stacie, Couple of things. Where do you get the great yarn? and where can I get that book. I am going to have lots of time to knit. Whats up with NY? I crochet blankets for my 4 adopted nieces and nephews a year ago. They love them.
