So cool!!!

Check this out!  I met this artist (David Rosenthal) in Antarctica in the winter of 1996.
He was there on an NSF Artist and Writer's Program grant and I
watched him create some pretty fantastic things.

I just received this from him in the mail (original painting!!!)....I'm so happy!  This was a
pretty normal view we had across McMurdo Sound to the other side...
Mt. Discovery and Mt. Morning.  Fantastic!!

    Wow! Is right! Stacie, that painting is beautiful!! What a view you had down there in Antarctica. That was really special of your artist friend to give that to you. I would get a nice framed that for that painting. The memories of your experience down there are priceless.
