So...my foot is still "jacked" up and in a walking boot, but I had heard rumor that the fall colors are "going off", in fact, they have a "leaf color report" on the radio to let people know where to go...I will probably go searching for some more today...
Dutch was my side kick, I don't think he was too bummed that we couldn't hike because of my foot, he still had a grand time, no complaints. This is just outside of Sabrina Lake near Bishop
There were fisherman everywhere

And then on the way home, I saw this stud cruising up the grade from Bishop, my neighbor Kevin, way to go! He is 51 years old by the way, probably did 80 miles yesterday

Stunning colors! I love it - I can sink right into them. And ya know, I am impressed with 80 miles but 51 ain't that old.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding! ....lucky you .....you have seasons!
ReplyDeleteStacie, You make me so jealous. I need that fix right now. Gorgeous colors. I particularily liked the snap of the trees forming an arch over the road. Wow! And I love walking in leaves and kicking them. No longer roll in the loeaves but would love to still orast potatoes in a pile of burning leaves. love, ma
ReplyDeleteOoops! Spelling errors that I did not check. Ma
ReplyDeleteI have a walking boot too ~ want to trade places!
ReplyDeleteAh - is this California???
ReplyDeleteYes this is california...about 50 miles from my house...I'm going to hunt for more tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures Stacie. My husband was up at South Lake and almost took out a few photographers standing in the road. Scared him to death. Also slowed him down. :)
