As I sit a week after my surgery, my bone is knitting itself back together,
so I decided I would encourage it!
I knit this scarf for my friend Kurt whom I went to NYC with, he treated me so well, knitting him a scarf was the least I could do. Yarn: Mochi Plus, number 605 (I think?)
Pattern came from Scarf Style
Then, I decided to cast on some socks, mainly because I "suck at socks". Pattern: Classic Happy Trails Socks by Nancy Bush
The yarn is cheap stuff, but it is good because you can be careless with it and accidentally throw it in the wash. Patons Kroy Socks FX. Copper Colors.
And then there is this guy...check out both of us are broken! Dutch broke his toe :( We sat on the couch together for two days, poor guy!

OMG that is the cutest pic of you and Dutch!! You two are so connected! Your knitting is amazing! That scarf is gorgeous and bravo! on your socks! I can't believe you can do that stuff!! You're totally professional to me! I thought you were coming back to the OC.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog Stacie.
ReplyDeleteI forwarded it to Marge cuz she claims she doesn't know what's going on with her grand nieces and nephews. I told her I found out about courtney's super handsome beau on Stacie's blog.
I also love the pic of you and your dog. Dogs are awesome ... wish their maint. was not so costly.
Millie
Ok that is adorable -- you and Dutch have parallel lives!
