Alright Mom, I finished the gloves!

Here they are...Fingerless Flower Gloves, pattern by www.kristinnicholas.com

I know I have made these as gifts before, but I was commissioned to make these for someone at work...yay!

It was very easy to finish knitting these today as I had great company at the local coffee shop (where I stayed for 5 hours!) and then after going to the gym and seeing a bunch of very cool friends I haven't seen in a while (Leslie!), I came home and finished these while I was watching Sex & The City (The Movie - thank you Hilary!) It is also DUMPING snow outside...yep, it is April 11th and I think we are supposed to get over a foot tonight/tomorrow! But I got all pumped up for this...coming in May!

And.....another day totally vegan! Had a headache today, but it went away as soon as I put in 45 minutes at the gym (and took my tight headband off my head?!?!?!)

  2. WOW.......You are talented my dear little sister. Love the updates and keep them coming. Yes, I saw the preview....my neighbor stays in this hotel for 5 weeks every winter with her entire family. No wander she can't wait to leave each year and tolerate a 24 hour plane trip.

  5. Stacky, the gloves are gorgeous, can you send me the pattern? Are the circular? Your knitting has come such a long way and is so beautiful now...

Our family is moving back to a Whole Food Diet like when Renn was young. we all felt much healthier, although we still eat some meat, Piper is a viking and not wanting to give it up any time soon so I have to trust that about her...

  8. The gloves are SO CUTE! And just love the yarn and the colors. Is that Lamb's Pride? I think you mentioned it in an older post. I have seen that book in the stores and have been tempted. She has an amazing way with color and pattern.

Sitting in a coffee shop for 5 hours knitting with snow on the ground sounds like my kinda fun. Just a smidge jealous. I simple have to find a knitting group here, or maybe start my own. xo2u
