to go ice skating locally. Life happens, so he had to cancel.
I decided to drive all the way up to Tenaya Lake in Yosemite
because I heard it was fantastic.
I got to the lake at 9:15am and no one was there (well, no
ice skaters). I drove back and forth because I wasn't going to go
alone. At about 9:30am, I saw a man putting his skates on.
We decided to skate together and stay close to the shore. He was
from San Francisco.
About five minutes later, we heard voices from the other side of the
lake (the acoustics were amazing, I am attributing it to the granite,
right?)
Five people from Markleyville and the Kirkwood area joined us, then
there was a man from Big Sur and there was a figure skater with her
friends from Fresno. It was amazing! We skated all over the lake.
Total length of the lake according to my car....almost a mile!!
Such a great way to start the day and made some new friends!
OK.......seriously, we need to trade lives for 2012......Peeez! What an amazing life you are experiencing each and everyday!
