So a couple of weeks ago, my friend Brendan and his sister

Eliane graced me with their presence in Mammoth!  We had

a blast!  Our local ice skating rink ended up getting a little

make over, expanding, smoothing out, etc.

We went to the night of lights on the mountain, amazing!

The beginning of Night of Lights...

I heard it was somewhere in the ballpark of $500,000 to put this show on.  Notice the lights
on the chairlifts going up and down the mountain.

So, since the ice skating rink, I decided to "up" my experience.  My friend Lisa and I
took to Gull Lake near June Lake.  We may have no snow, but the ice has been out of
this world because it was so cold for so long.  Lisa is shown holding onto a rope swing that is
usually in full operation during the summer.
